SOPHIE FAITH -'London-based singer-songwriter Sophie Faith’s music is an expressive and moving capsule into a troublesome time. Stunning vocals guide you through her narrative-led poetic lyricism which is drenched in emotionality. Sophie’s personality is instantly infectious and she has the ability to convey even the most subtle emotional nuances through her choice of tone, creating a tangible link between her and the audience. Despite the pandemic, she’s been grabbing the attention of the industry with a recent co-sign from Stormzy, features with the likes of Flatbush Zombies, Reuben James and word of a debut project produced by Linden Jay.' KYMARA -'Hailing originally from Driebergen in The Netherlands, Kymara has always stylistically harnessed hybrid blends of thesoft organic soul sounds she’s collected over years spent traveling into new sonic territories, to viscerally deconstruct herplight as a modern woman through music' New Wave Magazine

'Kymara’s sound can only be described as smooth and subdued bluesy neo-soul that lyrically hinges on human interconnection. DXVL -'dxvl is a beatmaker and rapper from London. He was known thanks to his collaborations with ayrtn but also in solo with his series of Ep’s the Winter Collection who started in 2018' genius

Hailing from Croydon, South London, dxvl has sculpted a one-off creative style. By staying independent and by both producing and rapping over his own tracks. After a Huge 2022 shutting down stages all over the UK

AKIN SOUL -'Akin Soul is a jazz and soul singer, multi-instrumentalist & songwriter from South East London. Raised on a diet of Marvin Gaye, Stevie, Lalah & Donny Hathaway, Kim Burrell & Corinne Bailey Rae'. EFG London Jazz Festival.

AFLO. THE POET -'AFLO. the poet is a spoken word artist. She started performing in 2019 and now is a strong knot in the black poetry scene in Brighton. I had the occasion to see her live several times – she is a storm of energy who takes the whole room’s breath with her flow' The Badger

ERIN JAMES -  'Erin James is a published photographer, photojournalist, writer, radio host, DJ, curator and founder of Tough Cookie Mag. She looks to inspire others to speak out on difficult and stigmatized subjects through the medium of art, focusing her work on socially engaged topics and social justice issues whilst championing and uplifting marginalised voices' The Rising

PRISS NASH - Uncensored, Unfiltered, Unapologetic and Oversharing. A poet, rapper, musician and model. In everything she does she aims to break stereotypes, make audiences question their own biases, decolonise minds and celebrate Black joy. 

 

JOSEPHINE HALL - makes work that is honest, accessible and amplifies marginalised voices – particularly those from the global majority. She explores themes such as journeying, healing, connecting with nature, music and the black/mixed-race experience.

SLANT - Brighton-based quintet, SLANT, is fronted by Katy Smith & Frankie Stanley alongside Aurora Bennet (Drums), James Virtue (Bass) and Jamie Broughton (Guitar), five heretics on an unrelenting quest to escape from the mundane, from Wallow City. Don’t succumb to the isolation and loneliness that the world beseeches; instead tune into SLANT’s soundtrack for the new age.

RELAX AND BAKE FM ANF FRIENDS - A set featuring artists curated by Relax and Bake FM a creative collective dedicated to highlighting fresh talent with radio shows in plenty of cities.

DA'KHARI LOVE - Born "Nkosi Hollis" in Bermuda, is a fairly new artist to the scene. As a child he performed locally all around his island home from church to school performances where he developed his talent and grew a passion for music. He released two new singles "Burning Love" which landed number 1 on Bermudian Radio & "Warrior" under his original name Nkosi. Now at the age of 22 he is set to release his Debut album "Renaissance" 

 

SCARLETT FAE - "Scarlett Fae is a neo soul, contemporary R&B writer, and singer with a keen interest in telling stories across multimedia platforms. Based in Brighton (UK) and a graduate of BIMM (The British and Irish Modern Music Institute) the 24-year-old is currently in the process of completing a series of 4 standalone tracks each accompanied by its own visual piece" Shades Of Noir 

 

JP ROSE - J JP Rose is a multi-faceted musician hailing from North London, 20 years of age. His creations blur the lines between RnB, Lo-fi Hip-Hop & Soul. Some prominent features of JPs music are his soothing vocal flows, soulful instrumentation and high-quality self-produced beats. JP also produces & writes for other talented artists (such as Feux & Teeze) and has supported big UK acts on tour, such as Lord Apex, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Rushy & House of Pharaohs.

 

 

CULTDEEP RECORDS AND FRIENDS - A set featuring artists curated by Independent Brighton based Record Label created by Guami and King Girl. 

Taking the Moves festival stage will be Cult Deep Records finest Trickk, Idyll, Skii and Safenath.

 

TRICKK a fresh new artist from Brighton. Bringing the trap sound to his area and looking to make a impact and show the world that you haven't got to be from London or America to take over the music industry. 

 

 

 

 

IDYLL brings a fresh clean flow to his beats, working with the likes of King Girl on tracks such as 'Lemon' and 'Blue' the rapper hit's a spot that can't be missed and is a real up-and-comer on Cult Deep records roster. 

 

SKII is a rapper, singer and producer that is bringing the party to moves festival this year, you wont be able to stop moving to tracks such as 'Too much' and 'Sweet One', His versitility and flow is what makes this artist a must watch. 

 

SAFENATH is a Essex born MC-songwriter based in Brighton, "Bringing a high level of authenticity to his productions, he's keen to stay out of boxed musical genre's driving to create music that's simply defined as unique" - About To Blow.
